None of your choices are that good. First off you can not see the difference between 720P and 1080 in screen size smaller than a 46″. I was in the market for a 32″ a while back and went to Best Buy web site and read all the customers reviews on 32″. Panasonic had the best reviews of all brands. I actually purchase a Panasonic 37″ 720P 60HZ for $549. Look at the tv from an angle and see what picture quality you get. Some brands you will loose the picture while Panasonic maintains that picture. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on tvs. You will also notice that Panasonic has a tv (recommended as the best) in each price category of entry level to the high end, while Sony and Samsung does not. Other brands like Toshiba, LG, Sharp, Sanyo and Vizio did not even get mentioned. Hope this will help you out.

  • We recently grew tired of our old CRT 37″ behemoth 10-year old Samsung TV and decided to join the HD world. Since our entertainment center can only hold up to 37″ we were limited in options (no plazma, not a ton of 37″ out there for LCD either compared to other more popular sizes). We shopped around, checked prices and reviews, then went to a store and looked at many of them in person, deliberately going on a Sunday afternoon so football would be playing so we could see how well they perform during a sporting event with lots of motion. For the price, the quality of this LG 37LH40 was a no brainer. The only models that looked even close in picture quality were Samsungs that are hundreds of dollars more expensive, and most other 37″ TVs are only 60hz instead of this LG’s 120hz. Setup was simple and we easily have connected the DVR, Blu-ray system, and Wii and have slots of each type remaining we could use for future expansion. Picture quality is very good on standard signals and fantastic on HD signals. Blu-rays look amazing. Good sound from the TV itself and the clear voice feature is nice. Remote is very intuitive and all setting are very easy to adjust. Nice picture and audio features. Very happy with this purchase (also integrates almost seamlessly with our LG Blu-ray home theater system – they recognize each other, etc.)

IMO LG is one of there very best(if not thee best) brands you can buy. Vizios are nice also. If I were you and had the extra $50 to spend it would be for the LG.

Neither, I personally think both are garbage. You should go with a Samsung or Sony, yes they are more expensive but it is because they are built for viewing pleasure, not having the same quality as a tube T.V.

    70,000:1 IS BULL ****
