I just purchased a toshiba 15 inch lcd tv/dvd and in the auto set up I selected analog just to see if anything would come in. Now I am having trouble on how to switch it back to cable and was wondering if anyboy knew how. the model number is 15lv505 or 15lv506 and the manuel is no help I will give ten points if anybody can help me. Also the auto set up feature only works once.

Will I be affected by the DTV transition? I pay a monthly cablevision bill, and two other TV’s in my home use cable set top boxes. Will my one TV without a set top box – which is connected to cablevision through a black cable – be affected?
I don’t have “ghetto” cable nor an illegal box. It’s all paid, just an extra line is run to this TV without a cable box.
Why is there lots of static when viewing cable on my new LCD TV?

I just bought a 32″ Toshiba LCD TV. I plugged my cable in and there’s a lot of static on all the channels. My last TV was from the early to mid 90s and it worked fine. I don’t have a cable box (the digital box is in the living room). All the settings are set to “cable” on the TV. My friend has a new LCD tv with no cable box, and the signal is fine. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
