I have a Sharp LCC3234U LCD TV with a spot where the black glossy finish appears to be gone and there’s a rather ugly spot that stands out now. I was wondering if it is possible to patch up this spot myself? I found something called “Rust-Oleum Universal Gloss Spray Paint” that sounds like it should work, but I was wondering if anybody had any experience with this kind of thing who could help me out, thanks!

I know the market is huge…which makes me feel totally clueless here. im wondering, is the Sharp brand good for a gaming TV? here is what i am considering, SHARP 46″ LC-46SB54U LCD TV. any input would be great! thanks

When I turn on the TV the image is displayed. After a few seconds, the screen goes black, however the sound still works (I am still getting a signal from my cable or DVD player).

Any suggestions?

I have a Sharp LC-42D64U and and the picture is great, but the sound not so great. Any recommendations for inexpensive speakers? While waiting to buy speakers, what is the best way to improve the sound? Anyone familiar with how to calibrate the SOUND controls? Is pulling the sound thru my TV any good?

I have a fujitsu laptop on vista , I am connecting it to my sharp lcd tv through the rgb connection.
When I connect , the tv screen stays blank ( yes its on the correct tv channel )
I assume I need to change setiings on my laptop but which ones ?
