speakers and the surround sound at the same time?
Also when i have my laptop hooked up to the TV, i have a jack going from the headphone port on my laptop and a red and white connection going into the corresponding RGB ports at the back of the TV, but the TV still wont play the sound, any idea why? I have a macbook btw.

my LG decided not to come on the day i went on holiday, i mean no power no lights nothing, come back try again, nothing so i go and buy a new 38” LG tv, tried the old one once again, comes on fine put it in my bedroom works all day come in at night wont turn on no power nothing, just read something about HDMI cables causing problems so ive just took mine out doubt much will change thou. whats up with it ?

hello everyone my parents are interested in getting a new hdtv well b/c theyre cheap this season with boxing day passing by and all these sales are going on
well anyways my parents went looking around from futureshop to best buy to the brick and to visions
and well my parents wanted a samsung hdtv b/c they heard its the best one out there (is that true!?)
anyways my parents got this great deal (and its the only deal they can get for 47″ b/c they wanted a samsung but everywhere it was sold out, not even in the warehouse) theyre looking at a LG 47LH55 for 1,200 (with taxes) which is a pretty good deal b/c normally this tv would cost 1,500-1,700 without taxes
the LG 47LH55 apparently features really good picture quality and the model my parents were looking at was at 240hz but apparently the down side about it was that it doesnt show really deep blacks and theres no s-video input
so my question is,
should my parents get this tv or should they just pass until the samsung becomes available

I am looking for a monitor for my dorm room that is very high quality. I really want a brand name monitor that can also be used as a TV. I cannot decide between the Samsung or LG. The LG is $100 more expensive. Here is the spec for Samsung:

I really wanted to buy the T260HD because the screen is bigger but the item is being discontinued. I don’t really want a last year item. I can wait about 2 months, do you think by then the companies will start releasing 26 inches monitor with HDTV tuners? Which monitor should I buy if it has to be between the 2333HD and M237WD?

Bestbuy has a 720p LG TV on sale. This would be my first HDTV, any opinions on this? LG seems to have good quility products.

I have an LG 32″ and I’m looking to get a wall mount that you can like swivle it 180degrees or something close to that number. Do you have any thing that you know works good with this size tv??
