LCD HDTV Buy Now

ok just got a 32PF7331 lcd tv.When I went to connect the tv to my amp via rca leads I am getting no sound into my amp/speakers.tried different leads…nothing…Tried plugging into differrent connection ie vcr connection/aux connection on amp….nothing.Do I need to switch off HDMI sockets on the tv to activate standard rca sockets.(I plan to use 1 of the hdmi connections for my dvd player).Any ideas anyone??

We have a ps3 connected to a samsung lcd tv via a HDMI cable. The sound settings are to HD but the sound keeps going off and on. Any ideas?
Tried that Jaguar but the ps3 has to be on for the hdmi connection to be highlighted? Maybe it’s a dodgy cable? Are HDMI cables that sensitive?
Still playing up! Changed HDMI and it works on our Sony HD tv, Playstation3 ok so TV must be the problem. Spoke to Samsung and they werent sure so I’ll pop into a local Samsung repair centre to ask if they knew what it could be. Tv suppports 1080i nd HD sp I dont know what it is?

I just bought a Samsung 46” LCD TV, 1080P, 12HZ and am wondering what accessories should I get for the best TV viewing. I already have the digital cable with an HD package, but have been told that there are certain HDMI cords that I should look into. I am not sure what comes with the TV (bought it from Amazon.com, LLC. I also have an XBox 360. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am planning to buy a TV for my XBOX 360 because my 42″ HD Ready(720p) TV seemingly gives unsharp images and poor image qualty for my XBOX 360(yes, I use an HDMI cable). Now, will buying an 32″ Full HD Philips TV gives better,more importantly sharper images or will a mointor of the same resolution give my a better image.
Here are the the Specefications for the Philips TV:
Full HD 1920x1080p
Contrast Ratio 50000:1
Pixel Plus HD for Sharper Image quality
2x10w Speakers
3 HDMI Ports

NOTE: I will obviously play games very close to the TV(as close as one would play one a monitor). Is this appropriate or do I need to play it from a distance?

One more thing: How will I get any sound if connect my XBOX 360 to a monitor( how will find a cable to allow my XBOX 360 to pass sounds via my computer speakers? OR will the HDMI to VGA cable be simply fitted with a seperate cable?
