I have found that most everything appears too dark. I’ve adjusted the brightness setting at the maximum setting and I think I could still go higher if it allowed it. Using THX Optimizer for the brightness it says to adjust to where you can just barely see the 7th dark square and I can only see about 5 squares with the brightness at maximum. Any sympathizers or suggestions?

If I get a Westinghouse 42″ LCD HDTV with 1080p, will the picture be any worse than a more popular brand of TV such as a LG, Sony, or Samsung LCD that has 1080p also? I wouldnt think so since they have the same specs but Im not quite sure.

i have an LG 42′ inch HDTV do i need a a converter box?

I just bought (yesterday) a Samsung LN46B550 1080p LCD HDTV and I have a PS3 connected through HDMI to the TV. Every game I play is fine, but whenever I play LittleBigPlanet (game native resolution: 720p), the TV blinks and flashes every few seconds. Is there anything I can do to stop this?
I don’t think its the resolution because I played a different game on 720p and it was fine.
What could be the problem?
