My Tv : 26LX2D LG HDTV and I am getting a PS3 for the european launch (23rd of March) and I already have a hdmi cable ready and I would like to know if there are any tips to get better quailty picture from my TV.

Below the screen the Samsung brand name is written in silver ink. I would like to remove the name because I think it ruins the look of the TV,

I have a LG hdtv and DVD with surround. I’ve just figured out how to connect my surround speakers so that the tv sound comes out of them when Im watching my normal tv which is on the AV1 channel, (by turning the dvd player onto TV-AUDIO using the auxillary button), but when I connect my HD cable and then put the tv on the HD channel(HDMI 1) the surround won’t come out of the speakers anymore.
Can this be helped?

I just bought a Sharp HDTV and am having trouble making it darker. it is extremly bright and I have tried the menu section to bring the brightness down. it this just how bright these tv’s are, or is there something I am missing. Have been reading the instructions and cant find a solutions to dim the picture.

HBMI to HDMI cable. Have samsung 780 LCD TV – LE19R8. When selecting the HDMI button on remote and selecting games mode, states mode not supported. How do you change the mode on either the TV or the x-box to make them compatible?

We will eventually be upgrading to an HDTV package, but in the meantime, just want to get a signal so we can watch it until we get the upgrade. Any help is appreciated.

just bought a new samsung hdtv an it will be arriving next week. i bought it mainly to get me game on. i have a 360 an the tv does have scart sockets so can i connect it just like any other normal tv. or do i need to buy a hdmi cable? is there a benefit with this other cable
