  • are you sure your tv is 1080p?? what model number is it?? on my samsung tv it automatically changes itself to 1080p

  • Uh – “HDMI” means that the cable transmits a high-def signal. That includes 720i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. So – by using a HDMI cable, you “are” receiving high-def.

    Take a look on your tv – in the back, by the cable jacks. Note the model number, and then either hit Sharp or Best Buy’s website, and see what resolution your TV is. (I’m guessing you do NOT have 1080p, as your PS3 won’t work with that selection.)
