How Can I Make My Wii Work On My Samsung Hdtv?

I plugged it in the component input section on the rear of the tv but all that comes up is a fuzzy greyscale picture with no audio. Help me please!

Plug The Red Wire On The Red Hole The Yellow Plug On The Yellow Hole And The While Plug On The White Hole.
