Hi Is There A Way My 38″philips Hdtv/lcd 720p Could Look Like 1080p Picture?
Hi I have 38″Philips HDTV/LCD with 720P resolution. I do know is a odd question but, I know that a HDTV with native 1080i, you could buy a special cable to look like a 1080P picture. But what about my 38″Philips HDTV/LCD? Can I make it to a 1080P picture & how? Thank you!
P.S. I’m using gold HDMI 1.3a cable from Belkin brand & I also use my PS3 Blu-ray.

your tv support only 720p. although you use a bluray and high speed hdmi cable, the signal is transfer in 1080p, but your tv will degrade it and display in 720p! therefore, if you want to have 1080p, you must buy a full hd television!
720p means you have 720 real scan line horizontally, while 1080i means you will have 540 real and 540 virtual line on your tv! 1080p means you have 1080 real scan line for you tv, so that the display is ultimately clear!
