I am trying to connect a Panasonic TC-32LX60 lcd tv to a Toshiba A2 HD dvd player , I currently have RCA Cables and get a good picture , but not the 1080 picture that I would like,
Does anyone have one of these tvs, Do I need to switch settings, switch cables, or both.

  • It’s the cables. RCA’s are Standard def. You either need component cables (red, green, blue) or HDMI(video and sound at the same time).
I suggest HDMI because it saves up a lot of space and is the only cable capable of 1080p.

HDMI cables are so overpriced at electronic stores try

HDMI is digital so its wither you have a signal from the cable or not Monster cab;es are a consumer trap so you can pay more.

I use the monoprice hdmi cables 3 ft(rare length at stores) on my PS3 and have a 40″ Sony Bravia LCD and the BLue-Ray looks amazing. Hope this helps and if you need tips on HDTV check this is where i learned all i needed to know for HDTV from set up , viewing distance, and more. GOOD LUCk
