No Philips consumer product, in my opinion, is worth a dime.
NO WAY, the amberlight is regarded as a GIMMICK within the industry, also philps are having realiabilty problems

I actually own a Philips 37PF9731D with ambilight.
It’s a cool feature, and looks awesome when you watch movies at night.
That being said, you shouldn’t buy a TV just cause it has ambilight, there are other things that are more important.
