El Jefe asked:

I have a Panasonic LCD TV model #TC 26LX60 which was made March 2006. The main video inputs are not working. How much will this repair cost.

  • Sounds like it should be under warranty.

  • You can pop it open and take a look at the connections behind the pannel. You can use soem rubbing alcahol and Qtips to clean the connections, have a air blast can ready, and you may see the loose connection right there. If you do have one you can simply sodder it ($15 soddering set, and yes it is VERY easy), or you can go the quick fix route and wrap the connection in wire so that it will work for now.

If you do it yourself you know it will get the attention it deservs, if you take it in, they will rush through it and just get it done.

I would say that they will charge you Upwards of $150 for a fix like this.

i mean if you know something about TV ,maybe you can open and view it firstly,or you’d better ask for a professional man for
    repair it.

  • That TV is still covered by your warranty, and the warranty should cover video in-puts that don’t work.
